Hi...
Terragen immediately halts rendering when I have crop region turned on.
It must be my scene because it works fine in a default setup.
I get no warnings or errors.
Its simply says rendering completed.
Could I have done something in the scene to stop the render?
It renders fine if I turn crop off.
Thanks in advance
Nick
You didn't change the cropsize to 0/0/0/0 by any chance? Is it possible to post a tgd? What if you disable all displacement and texturing nodes, or most, and then try a render?
Actually I've got it to work (so far) by creating a new render node. The old one must be corrupt somehow. I am splitting the image into 4 vertical segments to render on the farm (4 machines - its a 12k render). So crop 0, 0.25 .025.05 .5,.75 etc.
I cant post the scene....it's for a commercial project.

Good, glad you can work on. These things are not nice.
My guess is you reversed the order of one of the crops, either up/down or left/right, in other words you accidentally set the left-side crop border greater than the right-side crop border, i.e. "past" it. Left should always be smaller than right, and likewise bottom should always be smaller than top. If you reverse these it won't render properly.

Makes me think, maybe they should be linked, so it won't be possible to reverse them?
Probably, yes. You can't reverse them in the GUI though (in the 3D Preview), which is the typical interaction mode expected.
