Another one I'm working on. It needs a li'l TLC.
Good start with awesome mood.
Great start. I would expect some colour variation on foreground.
David
The ground is somewhat too mossy. ;) But the air and clouds are fresh and nice to look at.
This one's quite awesome already. Very sparkling and powerful, I like it very much. But indeed needs darker and more variety in the grass, less translucency perhaps. Maybe some low shrub.
As the other say: Awesome already but could be perfected with some variation in the foreground grass
Agree. Otherwise great!!
Just testing.
Tweakerz gonna tweak.
I still like the layout of the first best, but the addition of the extra clouds is terrific.
Agree with Ulco. The grass looks great, but maybe some size variation plus some more groundcover would make it look a bit less carpet-like.
U got some serious mood there. AS mentioned before those clouds and the lights are fantastic.
Looks great.
I really like where this is going... You've had a great string of dramatically-lit images lately.

What they all said already and I like the first one's layout, but with all the additions...Keep on tweaking. Always feel a tad weird typing that cuz I worked for a while at a 1/2 way house for detoxing speed freaks and tweaking to them meant something radically different...and yet strangely the same, altering reality.

Thanks. This is unfortunately going to be my last posting for awhile. Have other aspects of my project to work on and am taking a vacation, as well. Probably be a month at least before I get around to posting anything else. But with any luck, by the time I get back, Terragen 3.3 will be out and ready to play with.
i like something in each one. Have a good break!
Have a great vaca man...may do that myself as the temps up here are rising enough for me to want to be outside....
Thanks guys, I'm gonna try. I haven't had a real break in over 3 years.
Hey Mike, you never post anything anymore. Are you still doing Terragen stuff or are you just working with Maya now?
lol! I was giving you all a break ;D
Best of both worlds?
Nice...and I think the carpet grass is appropriate to the humidity level in that part of the cyber verse.....what with the low hanging clouds and all....
I'm still working on the grass. Go easy on me, I just got back into things. ;D
That is quite lovely, even with the "ground cover moss" ("carpet grass) look. It has a magical, fantasy feeling. Just would like to see it in higher quality now. :)
- Oshyan
Great! - That could find a place on my poolhouse wall if I get your permission :)
its good too. would also like to see a high quality.

Second this.
This is done-ish. Time to move on to The Other Really Important Task in my project.
Oshyan: Well, it's for a magical, fantasy project.
DocCharly65: As long as that's all you're using it for, I don't have an issue with it.
I like it.
^^me too.
Would I ever love to be sitting there playin' my guitar...beauty man....well done.*****
Hot damn, that's gorgeous. I love the dappled light on the grass (though not *totally* sure why it's dappled?). Hopefully you rendered it at higher resolution and *someone* gets to see it that way, even if we don't. ;)
- Oshyan
Terrific!
Sooooo great!
... and thanks for your permission...
I think it must get the place under the light in the poolhouse room. :)

If there is a someone, they aren't me. Scene's already breaking my RAM as it is. Too many imported objects, I think. Although, really, I just need a new machine. Now I have an excuse to get one. BTW, the 'dappling' effect is just another layer of grass, slightly taller and differently coloured.
DocCharly65: Take a pic, send it to my e-mail.
Bobbystahr: See DocCharly65. Releasing high-res versions of my backgrounds for print before project release isn't part of my release strategy, even if I could render one. Although I'm likely to consider it after project release.

I totally get that...good luck with the project.
So I, uh, upgraded my RAM. :)
Last one I'm posting. Has a wee bit of post processing.

Whew...I still like it...hee hee hee..did that speed things up then?
Didn't speed things up. But the screen, resolution, and imported objects was straining the limits of my RAM. As in, it took 12 minutes to close an IE window, because there wasn't any RAM left. Not only could I not add more objects, but I couldn't increase the resolution any more.

Yeah, I noticed an immediate improvement in those areas when I went from 2 G to 8 G
Very nice to see it in higher resolution. Glad you were able to upgrade your RAM, and I hope it allows even more creative possibilities for you in the future! :)

Just between you and me, (and everyone else in the forum) you haven't seen anything yet. ;)
