I wonder what would happen if you make an animation out of it (3 frames), set some kind of blur (I believe that's possible, as it happened by accident in some occasions I vaguely remember), and render the middle frame as a still. You'd have to take care to move the camera such that the front plane gets moved the most and the second moved as little as possible, maybe just by zooming in a meter or so.
I guess that would work. We really need object motion blur!
