Your statement - mmh... perhaps you'd better put the baby onto an ipad (or smartphone) for actual social realism?

Yes, cool! If you'd work on the composition a bit more to get a more interesting POV and the textures (although I assume you want some more or less monochromic image) it would be quite an improvement.
