Title: Not yet green

'Sposed to be a warm winter day, or early spring with a melting snowpack.

It has a look. Warm colours. It's not real, it's an impression. If I saw this as an animation I'd want to see the trees limbs grow. A warm Gerald Scarfe like warped fantasy. That's down to the models. Maybe a larger scale fractal masking the clouds to give some spacial separation to break up the regularity.

You've got your mood though.

It looked a lot like that a month ago around here..for where I live this is quite realistic.

I also don't think it's unrealistic. Have seen scenes like that too.

But anyway it has the charme of a fairy tale or a dream. I love it!

Thanks you guys. I do actually agree with Hetzen, it doesn't quite look realistic to my eyes, although I can't quite pinpoint why. Also, credit where it's due, the snow is a heavily tweaked version of dandelO's simple snow shader.

I think it looks really great and realistic, except the front trees. Something about the greenish bark. Maybe try a different sun angle/time or alter the maps.

It's the models. Not your scene.
