Title: Crusin'
Post by: yossam on July 05, 2015, 08:49:41 PM
To be continued.................I know everything is too "clean". Will be addressed in a later version. Also writing a small back story for this one. Stay tuned.  ;D

Nice setup. You need to look at the lowpoliness of the gas things, and the ladies are a bit sweaty (from admiring the truck)  ;)

Dune,

Which gas things are you talking about? And, if you had noticed the thermometer, it is pushing 90 F in the middle of the night. That tends to make one sweat.  :-*

It's ok with the sweaty look.. carwash or catfight or whatever...  ;D

I'm looking forward to the continuation - hey - an empty gas station - that would be a nice playground for me too  8)
So many object, you could put there  ;)

The top and the round thing on the front tank station thing, but on the other hand, perhaps it's supposed to look a bit angled. Dirt, indeed, is more important.

Great. What happens if you RT the reflective shader on the car; do render times go sky high? Otherwise that would enhance the car I think. I would still reduce the sweaty look for more realism.

this has all the makings os a 70's sexploitation film, with a modern Tarantino angle.

Dune,

RT is on, don't know what's going on with that. Any suggestions?

Yeah, I can see that if I look carefully (like near the right lady's ... eh... shoulder). Probably the lights are overshining it a bit. Don't worry about it, I think. I sometimes say too much, perhaps.

You could try a lower specular highlights value maybe.

His uncle hadn't left him much............a Colt 1911 .45 autoloader?, the keys and title to the pickup truck (with the hey look at me paint job), an address in NYC, and a handful of cash. Oh, and a bunch of crazy SOB's trying to kill him for some damn reason. It had started after leaving the lawyers' office............seems there was a contract started to not necessarily kill him (he was an afterthought), but to deliver the pickup to an address south of the border. Upon delivery, the person would collect a cool million.

There seemed to be no end to the wannabe bounty hunters looking to make an easy score..............except so far it hadn't been easy. He was leaving a trail of bodies across the southwest as he made his way to NYC. Rumor had it that "something" was hidden in the panels of the pickup and the address would provide an answer to that question. If he lived that long.............

He knew now, stopping to drain the lizard, had been a mistake. At least these two were  different from the previous teams, they were at least better looking. Which could be a distraction, which could cause problems, which could get his ass killed. One thing for certain, there would be blood......................
