Title: White Cube
Post by: j meyer on July 06, 2015, 12:54:28 PM
Just another non landscape render, sorry. ;)
Wanted to see,if TG is capable of doing a certain kind of look.
This is as close as I could get for now.
Ran into some shading problems and although the model had normals
I had to subdivide it once more to scale the problem down enough to
not being that prominent anymore at this size.(AO facetting)

Looks good.
Which program did you use to create the object?

Model was done with ZBrush.Normals added in Wings 64-bit.

I see.No control for normals in ZBrush?

Cool. Speaking of which. Could do a Red light on the right and blue light on the left for one of those classic Hot and Cold renders.

Thanks guys!

Kadri - ZBrush just doesn't export normals to keep file sizes more reasonable.
And most modelling packages add them automatically on import anyway,TG
does not unfortunately.
With the newly added fbx export it might be possible, because that has an
export feature named smooth normals, but since TG's fbx import is not for
geometry at the moment I couldn't test that.
