A rough sketch of an idea, supposed to be Wyoming, Montana, or the like... sky and mountains could use a little work I think. C&C welcome.
Good start.
Have you looked at your image at a different monitor? It looks a little too bright to me.
Agree with Kadri about the brightness.
Otherwise overall I like the composition and the scene. Good job!
Little update. It doesn't seem overly bright to me? Is it looking washed out to you guys?
A bit but I think u also have too much red in the overall picture. I would remove also some red in PS or something. The sky and the mountains looks better with less red and bit more blue IMHO.
Played around with it a bit, seems an improvement to my eyes.
Small crop with some more additions...
Not sure if this is final or not, can't think of anything else to do...
Looks very good!
could you try some variations with the tree turned around? I think it looks a bit strange because the two branches at the botttom of it seem to be one very thick branch.
But anyway very impressive view!
So I decided to go in an altogether different direction... Still needs refinement.
Couldn't resist the temptation to transition the seasons...
I like what where this is going. I would increase the large scale noise on the clouds more and it might look neat to add some shore sands along the stream.
Oh yes! very good direction! :)
Thanks! So I changed the trees a bit to look more like an aspen thicket and made the bank sandier.
Almost final... I think. Small version.
There are a few things that bother me (not really, but you might like to change it); the translucency makes the tree on the left very flat, I don't really like the color of the grass on the left, and I think you should add more groundcover there, the river is not really a river, it's wavy like terrain. Why not make it a real river? The rest would suit that. And you might as well leave the sky blank with only some cirrus.
Just my 2 cents, so don't feel obliged ;)
Nice journey, though the sun is a little distracting? Maybe lover sun altitude and and add some low mist with some rays? :)
I enjoyed this little trek, thanks for sharing!
