Hi, I found an old version of TG classic I used years ago but when i try and start it now on Win7 x64 I get"cannot load plugin: for export only" and it crashes.

All help appreciated.

Just download the latest version from Planetside and enjoy the ride :D

The reality is, Terragen Classic wasn't designed for Windows 7, so it may not be compatible.

Terragen Classic should work fine on Windows 7. It sounds like you have a plugin installed (For Export Only) which may not have necessary supporting libraries. I would suggest removing it from the Terragen directory, or alternatively find the TGPGUILib download and install that. You could also just try a clean install of Terragen Classic, without plugins.

By experience:
TG classic runs fine on Win7, 8 & even 10

See below the directory & file structure of a running TG 0.9 on win 7

I guess you have to install the plugins afterwards
