Title: Flat woods
Post by: Cocateho on August 22, 2015, 06:48:19 PM
Similar scenes aren't too uncommon in south Georgia... had to up the haze to properly reflect the ridiculous humidity down here.  ;)

Nice.
I would put the foreground tree just a little to the left.

Very cool, as well as the trees you have Dune has a .tgd for sale at NWDA that I think has an awesome cypress' that would fit in a scene like this perfectly...only $6.95 ....really seems to need some fatter trees is why I bring this up.

Bobby, here's the inspiration for the scene, took this a little over a year ago.. Could use some more variation, but the trees aren't particularly thick anyway. Could always use more models though... haha. Also while there is some cypress in the lower "drains" around there, its mostly black gum, tupelo, and maple outside of the pine "hills".

Thanks for sharing that...don't have much exposure to that type of swamp up here in the Northern latitudes...great pic and inspiring for sure.
