I finally got it with the Alpine terrain....mask it and it's manageable. To that end today's image .....
Pretty nice, Bobby. Try some darkening and shine on the shores, or even some shore erosion (offset of altitude restricted surface shader, masked by a small sized PF), and try a more extreme patchiness on the water.

For sure, just wanted to get my success with the Alpine Terrain up...Saves a lot of time masking out all the terrain you don't need it seems. Allows for more work on the main area of interest without a rendering slowdown...well not as much as having the global alpine terrain present.
