Title: Simple Playaround
Post by: bobbystahr on August 31, 2015, 12:21:35 PM
So, in the spirit of experimentation I made a SS shader  with a strength of 2 and a brush fall off of .5 and when run through a Dispalacement shader wound up with a torus, cool. I then popped another one at the center with '1' strength and no fall off and wound up with a smooth mountain shape with a ring around it. I then ran it through the shader chain you see in the Node panel and got this. Anyone who has the preset package should be able to render this as the grass model is also from the preset package.
have FUMFUN. c&c Welcome.

Experimentation is fun, and good for deeper knowledge of TG. If you make the SSS a square you'll have a nice pyramid  ;)

Cool experiment.

I'm thinking about a vineyard somehow.

Yeah...explored that one in TG2 and IIRC you gave me some cool tips on that.
