Title: The ancient hermit
Post by: DocCharly65 on September 03, 2015, 10:54:26 AM
First I must ask, if somebody remembers, who published the "Two Suns Sunset.tgd"?
I downloaded it at that times but I don't find the topic any more! Anyway thank you very much. I knew that I would do something with it some day...  :)

If not any diffent idea or new knowledge disturbes my workflow, something like this will be in the end scene of "my plan"  ;)

I remember having played a role in that, but I can't tell you if it's my file.

Yes it started with just one sun and a sphere to get that look.
The TGD-file had two suns but I only used the left one.

... the basic idea is born now... let's see what my brain spits out in the coming months.

a few small upgrades...

- lower sun elevation
- smaller and so a bit more realistic size of the sun
- increased blur because if you take a picture from the sun
in that size you mostly need a big zoom and get blurred images.
- a few extra Acacia for our new guest  ;)
- a new guest (from "atomAlchemy" buyed on cgtrader)
- lower grass
- reduced translucency of the grass blossoms

This is just the left eye frame. I hope tonight the right eye frame will be finished and I can try a stereoscopic version.

Unfortunately the 3D result is not nearly as impressive as I hoped. But if you let yourself time and look in peace on the grass you get a little feeling for the depth...

Of course in red-blue the red sunset-colors are gone. (You need the red-blue (red-cyan) glasses again)
