Title: question about lighting
Post by: majidkaviani on September 04, 2015, 03:11:36 AM
hi dear friends.
here is my last try to create a landscape with terragen, i have a question about lighting and shadows.
as you can see the shadows are to blurry, and the mood of image is bluish. i got a good position for sun (heading : 126 and elevation : 63) the sun is almost in front of trees but i cant any sharp shadows. also the soft shadows is off.
this is my atmosphere settings:
haze : 1
color : .5
bluesky density : 1
cloro .3
after this image i deleted the atmosphere and add it again but the result was same as this.
thanks :)

You could try reducing the haze to 0.1. And/or raise the haze glow amount or glow power.

And under the "atmosphere"-tab you can increase the red sky decay let's say in 0.5 steps to make the whole lighting a bit warmer.

No problem. I guess, Oshyan will move it asap. It would have been "Terragen Discussion", or you could have posted it as WIP in the "Image Sharing" section.

Btw, welcome to the forum!!!!
