Not sure about this one..............something is "off" and I can't figure out what it is. Suggestions?

I think maybe that seashell hero rock would be better sunk lower into the water demonstrating the water's water-ness...I might even save it for another render as everything else sparkles for me.

The patch of water lilies looks out of scale at the distance I perceive it to be unless they are some enormous tropical species.
I like the muted background a lot. The foreground plant colors could be backed off in saturation or adjusted.

To me the Turtle is kind of stuck in the middle of being a rock like a turtle or a turtle like rock. Better to go one way or the other.

Actually that's a good thing for the turtle...........predators think he's a rock and keep on truckin'.  ;)

I agree with the comments. A thought crossed my mind; what if you sink the camera to low between the veggies (add some grasses maybe), add DOF and kind of get this awesome giant rockturtle loom over you, with the muted background trees. Could be nice. If you were to treat the turtle as a rock, you could try cover it with a pop of mosses/grass.

Added some fishys, not that you can see them, added something else also. No rock turtle in this one. May try Ulcos' suggestion. Where would you want focus with the FOV? Anyway............... ;D

This is also a great improvement. But focus would be on the turtle and beyond, with front veggies blurred, the view of an ant, sort of.

An ants' eye view.....................requested by Ulco.  ;D

Don't ask how long it took to get that ant on that blade of grass................ :P

Badger,

I paid for Animation when I bought the plant bundle from XFrog. I never got a license from them after pestering the hell out of them. I gave up...............I'm not paying for the same software again.  >:(

You paid for *Terragen* animation, or Xfrog? If it's Terragen you're referring to, they're not the ones who would need to handle the change. If you can provide proof of the version you purchased or you were simply issued the wrong license accidentally, we'll gladly take care of it. :)

When the Xfrog bundle of plants was on sale.................the only way to buy was with Terragen w/animation. I received my discs from Xfrog, waited a while on the license for Terragen, tried to contact Xfrog and never got a reply. I figured they needed to notify Planetside that I had purchased the software. I sent I don't know how many emails to Xfrog and never got a reply.

What kind of proof do I need? I have the discs from Xfrog.........that is all. What has it been............4,5 years ago. I don't remember if I paid with Paypal or what.

Well, if you have any of your original purchase receipt emails that would do fine. We can discuss further via email, support AT planetside.co.uk
