Black Walnut tree, October 8, 2015, Michigan.
The trees have a very temporary look this week. All, or most all, the walnut leaves have fallen but the walnuts still cling for a time to the branches.
This look will only last another day or two before the nuts are fallen too.
Nice shot. I'm assuming it's daylight, underexposed (or exposed for the highlights, said another way). But it could also be the moon in a longer exposure. The ambiguity is enjoyable.

Nice image.
Under exposed. That's the sun at 1:51 PM. A typical hazy and warm early October day here. Weather usually makes a sharp turn toward chilly and rainy in another couple of weeks, but these days are nice. The weather here was backed up and somewhat hurricane influenced for the last week or so but now getting back to a normal flow.
Yeah nice shot. Simple but powerful.
Nice shot and info... I don't think I have ever seen a walnut tree in the flesh, certainly not leafless and still with fruit(nuts)!
Cheers
J

In Alberta, we're enjoying unheard of +20 October days (70 ish for you Yanks). I understand it's an El Nino year.

I love the ocean. But my Canadian blood doesn't like the heat. Also, the nearest one is a 10 hour drive away. :(

Yesterday, it was not more than 18°C. I think your canadian blood can deal with that ;-)
Only colours look tropical, i'm from Britanny. Have quiet the same blood.

Very beautiful shot. I think this is a very interesting view for a TG render. :)
I have been looking for this kind of dandelions for months but all models are only with the flower not the fruits...
I mean this one (Nikon D60 with a Tamron 300 mm Makro):

I've seen a render with this fruit somewhere here, so there should be a model. If you want it small, why not use a billboard of your own photo?
Walli put out a nice dandelion pack awhile back, you can find it here: http://www.store.nwdastore.com/dandelion

Thanks RArcher... If I only would have been more patient... I could have saved money. I have buyed this one already: http://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/3d-model-dandelion-blossom-seeds/637290 (http://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/3d-model-dandelion-blossom-seeds/637290)
What is strange is, that it seems to be exactly the same.
And it must have been developed with xFrog software. I found the typical structure (and some xFrog-typical bugs) ;)
Yes, Jan Walter is the same as Walli who is part of NWDA. :D
