Title: Object Cards aim
Post by: Flythru on November 26, 2015, 02:54:43 AM
Can object cards be made to aim at camera. Quite a handy feature when you are placing images of shrubs ,rocks  If you cheat a camera move your eye will pick up that it's a flat card quite quickly if its not aiming perpendicular to camera.

Not to my knowledge, but it would be a great feature.

Not sure if you can turn off cast shadows .That would need to be applied and possibly use a second card horizontal to cast a pseudo shadow for the first card... some sort of work around.

You can turn off shadows in the card object, and there's a possibility to import a chan file. But I don't know if that's any good. Maybe if the chan file has camera moves within?

In Imagine3D and most apps that animate there's generally a feature like Track to Camera, but as TG's primary purpose is total 3D I can understand the oversight on an object added in an update.
