Title: Once upon a time.
Post by: mhaze on January 19, 2016, 05:29:52 AM
There was a place of ancient glories.

Playing with soft minimum scalar.  added some sq noise, some clouds, some grass made in Speedtree and poppies from XFrog.

Nice one, fairy-tale like.

Thank you all.  Dune, that's what I was aiming at - so glad you get that.

Like as well; fairy tale/fantasy...the atmo rocks this one...

EDIT
just noticed the birds circling the tower...nice subtle touch.

Nice indeed. Mood, the fantasy aspect, rocks in particular.

A wonderful fantasy, with a small touch of menace lurking in the shadows. I really like this, nicely done!

Cool! Really nicely worked out all the elements. This would not be lost at all as an illustration in a fantasy book or game background. In fact, I almost feel like printing it for my office wall collection of TG renders :)

Thanks for the kind comments - I'm particularly delighted that the mood I was aiming for has come across.

Thank you - with your skills I'm sure you could - I remember some of your earlier work too.

Ooo, I like this one a lot. There's an interesting sense of movement in the clouds. It's funny too, somehow I clicked on the image before even realizing who had made it, and I immediately thought "This looks like mhaze's work". So you have a recognizable style. ;)

The whole of the render has a dreamy look to it. The colors alone are very much representative of that.

Cheers and thanks. Oshyan, it's taken some time but I'm at last getting enough control of Terragen to say what I want to say!

The clouds were inspired by some Multi layered clouds I saw on the way back from London just after Christmas.  I haven't managed to get them exactly - these are better I think!
