Title: Montessori
Post by: Volker Harun on August 23, 2007, 12:09:29 PM
Hello,

I would like to share something out of my private life, that makes me busy 6 to 7 nights a week.

No, not TG2. There is something beside of it.

Founding of a new school that is based on the school system of Montessori.
On August the 31st is the grand opening of the school: You might want to have a look on some photographies I made: http://montessori.deviantart.com/

This school is gonna rock!

,-) Volker

Agreed!  Is that an observatory I see on top?  Those kids are going to have fun :D.

Yes, it is the Lippert telescope.
Main function is observation of celestial objects and a mirror for checking the sun's corona.

Schwassmann Wachmann used this telescope when they first spotted those asteroids named by them.

It is still functional. Like most other buildings.

Neat, that sounds like it going to be a lot of fun. Also telescopes are so much fun, I need to fix mine but just looking at the moon you begin to realize of truly far away it is and how small we all really are.

Volker, congratulation!  I love Montessori's concepts about young learners and believe completely in the concept of children being like dry sponges out of the womb.  They learn what they experience.  Meet them here and they will shine like diamonds in the bright sun.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.
