Another render based on the terrain features from my "Forbidden Lands" project. Got carried away kinda and sorta lost control about what's going on there. Even after two large and high detail renders I did miss i.e. a trunk hovering above the water surface. The grass growing on the underside of the rock cliffs is not a flaw, it's done on purpose (Because I saw grass growing that way in the Black Forest region in Germany)

ah ha...I see it here, but at FB I missed it. Just a thought re: modelling; if you are going to use an object like the scattered trunks/logs, you might consider capping the bottom/base...all the ones at the bottom of the image are noticeably hollow.

Very alien. Regarding the grass; I would lower the translucency, so it is not as light in shadowed areas. Something I don't really get, btw, probably the translucency works from environmental light, not from direct light.
I like especially the lower part.Nice.
What a wild place to visit. I like the details of fallen branches to. Agree that the grass needs less translucency.
Nice. I like the general form of the landscape and the foreground, the greeny muck is well observed and the colours are excellent. But I'm not a fan of the veg under the rocks in its present form.
