Looking for something else entirely I came across my house that I modelled whilst doing Mom care. She'd chuckle as I wandered aboot the place measuring everything. There are more objects in this house than anything I ever built. Though you'll never see them I modelled every stud, footer and header in the basement as well as a sub floor. All the door trims from 1905 when my house was built are carefully extruded, and then I started on the heat vents, kitchen cupboards, the fridge, stove, kitchen furniture, all the bathroom stuff, Haven't loaded, or infact converted, all the interior stuff yet but in the fullness of time I shall fill the house and maybe do a walk through animation of it as this renderer is far superior to good old Imagine's which was how I first saw this model appear.
Nice work!
Nice job Bobby! :)
Good modelling job. Keeping the lawn very trim too. :)

Wow! he even got a lawn moving service... :D
Nice models.
Throw a little randomness and it would look even better Bobby.

Randomness in which aspect of the image Kadri?...that's pretty much the way my modest little bungalo looks in the real world. I measured every part of it while doing Mom Care in the last 5 years of her life.
edit
I'm guessing re reading the posts that you are referring to the lawn?

Yes i have nothing much to say about the models.
Just the other parts of the image and maybe a little more dirtiness to the textures.
Great project, Bobby!
I remember building a cardboard model of our house, when I was a kid. Just the house.
But building everything, even inside, seems to be quite an undertaking. Good luck, Bobby, looking forward to your results!

It
is ongoing, Been on a back burner since Imagine wouldn't install due to my stupidity (a misplaced .dll that needed to be in the program directory) for 3 years but I got fairly good at getting Imagine .iob's into TG3....it's just now I have to rebuild some very amateur furniture models. They merely approximate the actual objects, Only good set is my kitchen table and chairs set, a '50's chrome legs and trim with yellow
mother of toilet seat surface set.
this one looks real familiar to me, bobby. very believable in certain terms. Good one.
Very good modelling job, Bobby, and a nice scene! I like it.

I'll come back to this after the V R comp....lots to re-model as I was a beginner when I made it and some parts are plain embarrassing now....
