Now those are mushrooms! I may be dumb, but aren't you doing that similar to how all the old textures are done in programs that use names like cloud, musgrave, checker...Ray type?

Nice.There is definitely potential.
I for one loose interest when the node tree gets too complicated after a certain stage.
Wish there was a easier way to do these kind of structures.
