Title: How can I save a shader and put it into another scene in Terragen 3 ?
Post by: Stormlord on April 12, 2016, 07:38:39 AM
I used Terragen 0.943 since many years but now it's time for an upgrade !

I decided to make a new start with terragen 4, but before I finally upgrade I will start to familiarize myself with the current version Terragen 3.4

In former times it was easy to save a shaders or atmosphere in Terragen 0.94. But with Terragen 3 and its node based setup I've no idea, how I could do that ?
Maybe it is a simple thing to do (for experienced users), but for me as a new beginner with Terragen 3 it is hard to to. How can I save a shader, so that I can use it in another scene ?

Please can you help me ?
How can I save shaders and how can I merge it into a new or another scene ?

Just click on the node and copy paste into another scene.

Or if you highlight the Atmo nodes for example, right click and save it as a clip file that later can be inserted into another scene.

to say, save a complete atmosphere go to the node pane with the atmosphere focused and select all elements then on the Atmosphere group frame right click and Group:Capture Nodes then right click again and Save Nodes as Clip File, name and save.

After magically gettin TG2 from Hannes here cuz he didn't need 2 2's.
