I like it, seems nearly like a painting.  The only thing is maybe you could work on the composition a bit.

What tree model is that?

It is the Larch by DandelO.   I have had it in my files for a long time.....didn't know until just recently that a larch was a type of evergreen tree.   I had not opened the file.   ;D

It's better to replace that with some power fractals, Lyla, to get rid of the repetitiveness.

I, as a big fan of image mapping due to my colour blindness, agree to the PF approach. I now use mainly PFs on my rocks and colour them with the handy presets to keep my colours at least semi real when that's my goal.

Changed composition a bit and tried some PF's on the rocks and varied their sizes quite a bit more.  So there are subtle changes to make this better.  Thanks everyone.
On to the next.

Much improved...did I ever get back to you on your request Lyla...been music-ing more than anything lately so things other than that slip my mind till I'm reminded.
