This is very nice! 8)
I like it, seems nearly like a painting. The only thing is maybe you could work on the composition a bit.
What tree model is that?

It is the Larch by DandelO. I have had it in my files for a long time.....didn't know until just recently that a larch was a type of evergreen tree. I had not opened the file. ;D
Did you use an image map on the rocks?
I like this one. Maybe some more variety in the boulder sizes?

Yes, I did.
It's better to replace that with some power fractals, Lyla, to get rid of the repetitiveness.

I, as a big fan of image mapping due to my colour blindness, agree to the PF approach. I now use mainly PFs on my rocks and colour them with the handy presets to keep my colours at least semi real when that's my goal.
Changed composition a bit and tried some PF's on the rocks and varied their sizes quite a bit more. So there are subtle changes to make this better. Thanks everyone.
On to the next.
The rocks look much better.
very nice! :)
Much improved...did I ever get back to you on your request Lyla...been music-ing more than anything lately so things other than that slip my mind till I'm reminded.
