Yes, those were CARS. What they make today is nothing compared to these old beauties.

Yes, it was a period in history when automobiles resembled the streamlined aerodynamics of the rise and popularity of aviation until the 1950s when the space race was beginning and science fiction was popularized, then automobiles somewhat resembled streamlined rockets. True creativity and effort went into manufacturing in those days.
