Rendered with the current TG Alpha and V3 clouds.
Beautiful render, shadows and distributions are all very nicely done
Very nice terrain and great clouds !

Wow! A bit dark on my screen but otherwise would mistake this for photo!
Awesome lighting/atmo....the rest is purdy durn good as well.
You know what I think of your work, Doug ;) Great again.
Excellent piece, a little dark for for me but I guess that goes with the mood.
Great stuff! :)
When I saw this I immediately thought of the vineyards near the Austrian, Italian, French borders. Then I searched vineyards....Have you seen images of Solutre rock in Burgandy France?
This image is great! Love the terrain!
Realism at it's best!
And beautiful!
Kind comments are always appreciated! Luvsmuzik, I lived in France for some time and the Bourgogne region is indeed filled with beauty. This imagery is from parts of California that I have traveled and hiked thru over the years. Sorry about the darkness, I have a new 4k monitor that is calibrated to cover 99.5 percent of the Adobe RGB color space and is also calibrated to cover 97 percent of the DCI-P3 color space (http://www.tomshardware.com/news/lg-31mu97-ips-4k-monitor,27988.html). So I'm probably flirting on the edge with this image to get the right lighting mood.
Looks fine on my 5 yr old BENQ monitor; the darkness I see is appropriate to the sun's direction and looks natural to my eyes on this monitor.
Thanks for the feedback Bobby. It does seem a problem at times with the various monitors and settings to have a darker image show true to a majority of folks. The primary criteria was to get the detail in the shadow areas to show as naturally as I could.

Well that worked well for sure...
