18i is my favorite. I love the foreground vegetation. Something very appealing and semi-alpine about it all. I find the distant mountain slopes need something though... maybe some talus slopes, erosion, or...?

Agreed, the peaks need some procedural erosion. Some erosion detail and perhaps some talus along the deposition with some grey stones building up toward the base of the slopes. Besides those minor details, everything else looks very good.

You have an amazing sense of space.  Some erosion would definitely help!

Other variations.
Some changes in the atmosphere POV and vegetations.

Thanks for viewing and comments!

It's obviously a very nice scene to travel around in. Subtle country. Some nice POV's. I have a question about the lake, though; isn't it a bit too opaque?

Acrylic fill, what do you mean exactly?

It looks like acrylic paint to me...featureless, opaque, no reflection.

It sometimes looks like this .. here for example : http://lesallues.nl/fr/wp-content/uploads/2-Le-Lac-Blanc-2.430m-au-dessus-du-Refuge-de-P%C3%A9clet-Polset.jpg (http://lesallues.nl/fr/wp-content/uploads/2-Le-Lac-Blanc-2.430m-au-dessus-du-Refuge-de-P%C3%A9clet-Polset.jpg) , http://www.montagne-cool.com/donnees/topos/229/photos/TOP_229_2776_1249133079.jpg_mini.jpg (http://www.montagne-cool.com/donnees/topos/229/photos/TOP_229_2776_1249133079.jpg_mini.jpg)

Yes, the color and general opacity is realistic for certain kinds of sediment/mineral-rich lakes. But I think it just needs a very slight translucency at the shore to sell the effect.

Cool, as a plains dweller I have never seen this angle view of a lake....I sit corrected...

Luc thank you for the link.
It actually exists in nature and is sometimes more evident as the location of the camera light as well and other factors. I think the particular location of the water in my picture,  the camera and light, the reflection almost made it impossible, at least I did not find sollution. For the subsequent pictures, camera position and the light allow little reflection. I made with a plane "beach" with a very long slope and increased transparency for plausible color variation for water.

When I started checking the news in this topic my first idea was to do a more transparent shore of the lake... and you did!  :) Perfect, well done!  :)

Watching some recent 4K video on UTube, of Yoho and Banf,  I had to double check and the water was moving....I am thinking, that looks like a render I saw recently. Your effort here is excellent!
