Yeah, I've just been reading about this too. Not sure it's something we'll be able to support in TG any time soon (Matt may comment on that aspect), but it's certainly a cool tech. EVOTIS is also really, really cool: http://www.go-ghost.com/

Cryptomatte is interesting but that Evotis looks incredible. More of that! I've spent so much time making daft little mattes for compers over the years, especially those who can't be arsed roto-ing 10 frames. *shakes fist*
