Was just testing the new clouds in TG4 Beta.
I think I'm gonna continue working on this scene, but here's what I got so far. I don't know why, but it doesn't look like the clouds are receiving any
shadows from the mountains even if the "Receive shadows from surfaces" is on. Anyone knows why?
Regards,
Terje
I do not understand that either, but it looks to me as if your sun hits the left side base of your mountain and everything on the right side is in shadow until the very edge there at middle right where the snow cap appears highlighted.
Wonder what shadow catcher shader on clouds would do?
Great render too!

Could it be because the camera is way above the clouds and the shadows are below the clouds?
The camera is very high, but the sun is also very low and it should make the mountain cast shadows on the clouds.
I'm pretty sure it would have worked with the old clouds, but maybe there are some other settings I have messed with that would cause this.

Interesting :)
Can you send the TGD to use at support AT planetside.co.uk? Also, try replacing this cloud with a v2 cloud (you can add it from the node creation menus) and see if it has the same issue.

I'll send the file and I'll also try replacing it with v2 clouds.
