In my preview image I've got a good portion of sky showing-over half the image-yet when I do a full render I end up with very little sky-and I do mean very little (maybe 10% of the image if that) right at the top-am I missing something here?any thoughts? Also, I prepurchased TG2-for some reason I thought I could render bigger than 800x600-I tried and got a message saying the free version won't go bigger than the above stated res-I've put my keyfile for TG2 in the same folder as the application-what gives?thanks very much for any help.

Can't help you with the reg issue, but as for the other, did you click 'Set Camera' after moving the camera position in the Preview View?
screenshot of preview and render would help here a lot.....
You don't want to put the key file in the free version folder, make sure you downloaded the deep version(I believe the link would be in your confirmation email) and use your key there. I would also agree with Harvey that you are not clicking on Set Camera before rendering. Good luck. ;)
A preview screen grab and render would help but have you clicked on "Set Camera" to the bottom left of the preview screen? I cant count the number of times I've forgot to click it and only realised halfway through a render. No idea about your key file but of course just putting it in the same folder as the free version wont help, it'll have to go in the folder of the registered version you downloaded.

Hi rhom,
As JohnnyBoy says, you should download the Deep version from the link in the email that contained the key file. Then run that installer. On Windows it will be installed with the name "Terragen 2 Technology Preview (Deep)" so you know which version you have installed and so that the installer does not get confused between the two.

Got everything straightened out-thanks to everyone for the assistance.
It was the set camera button and I did not download "deep" on my first attempt.
Quotehave you clicked on "Set Camera" to the bottom left of the preview screen? I cant count the number of times I've forgot to click it and only realised halfway through a render.
You too ;D
Cool! I've got a friend.
He he. Yes, always forgetting the set camera. However the set camera and view camera is a brilliant feature allowing you to move around lots before committing the POV. Also allowing you to edit all the camera settings before actually viewing them. Ingenious UI workflow enhancers.
