Still trying out a few things.
Nice rocks! (Something I struggle with)
You're getting better at this with every post. Nice rocks indeed. I do think the higher areas can have more like a grassy undergrowth under the trees, perhaps patchy. Some green algae on the rocks wouldn't look terrible either. The sky is a bit too bleached, IMO.
The rocks straight in the middle are absolutely great. On the right side it seems, that you are experimenting?
What caught my eye immediately, was the water surface. I really love that glittering of all the quite small waves. If it's a real lake, perhaps you could play with the wind patches? I think it could look wonderful if there were some areas with slight wind gusts for the look the water surface has now and some areas where the water is a bit calmer water as slight contrast.
Still tweaking some settings, wind patch etc etc.:-)
Like this a lot. Don't know where the sandy color on rock face far right is coming from, but , more would be good! Much better lighting here, can you target sun from left to right and hit the right bank? That might lighten your trees and show off the detail.
Overall, great improvements!
V.4 of the cove, adjusted some wave effects and lighting. Now on the brown rocks to the side..I think its a lil glitch in the image tiling, I used a seamless image map on the rock textures so I might just need to adjust the gap it cuz its showing the base brown shader. Dunno will have to play with it a bit before the beta 4 time runs out, also any notice that the new cloud functions seem to be a lil cartoony and takes longer to render than V. TG3? I'm running a iMac 27 inch i7 4 core with 16 gigs of ram, a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX with 2 gig of ram and a 3 TB hard drive.
Good lighting!
try this thread or check out the cloud library in file sharing....neat stuff

fleetwood did some softness tests...
Sheesh now that beta is running out I get the cloud functions under control LOL!!! Here's the cove without water and new cloud functions.
You have some especially nice elements in this creek scene. Like the blend of what we call riverbed rock multi-colors and the other bleached ones. Great improvement on the clouds too! Wonder what a narrow plane with water shader would do, rotated to enter the woods at low level do on the right there? I liked all renders of this scene, however.

Clouds are grainy and suck, I'm gonna do the water plane smaller, like a localised cloud plane and switch a few things up on the rock textures.
Has potential but I can't see it as it's very dark on my monitor...watching the evoloution
