Title: Terragen 3 to 4 transition
Post by: Tudor on September 05, 2016, 09:28:25 PM
I have a number of files GeoTiffs that I've been working with in Terragen 3.
When I checked off the georeference it repositioned and resized my heightField shader automatically.
When I load the saved file into Terragen 4.  The program fires off A Lot of warning messages and it does not resize or position the Heightfield Shaders correctly.
Has anyone else seen this?
Any quick/or otherwise fix for it?  If not I'll have to keep working in Terragen 3 until the current projects is completed.
Thanks,
Tudor

What are the warning messages? Have you tried loading the original GeoTIFFs into TG4, and *not* the saved file? This would be a test, I realize it is probably not a solution, but there are some node naming changes in TG4 which can break some old project files. There are workarounds if that's the case. We just need to see where the problem is coming from.

It might be you're running TG4 in free non-commercial mode. In free mode the georeference capabilities aren't available (and it will give warnings about this).
