Title: why dont this work?
Post by: mogn on September 06, 2016, 03:48:24 AM
Set the camera to 2000 y.
Deleted the top 3 in the terrain.
Created a disp function and connected to the internal network.
I was expected the display to show a mountain.

Perhaps the 1 in the displacement shader should be 1000? Or the get position only gets all zero's from the previously not-displaced terrain? But then again, you wouldn't have such preview.

Can you show a screen grab of the Planet connections? Do you have colour going into your displacement shader?

I did not save the actual setup, but rebuild again.
Anybody understands what special by this setup?

The output of the "surface layer" and the  outside connected "disp"
should be the same.

The actual size of the intended mountain is 1523  meters.
The size of the intended incremental intended mountain is 1601 m.
The intention was to make a smooth levitation between the two.
An error in the displacements, a constant of 41 must added
