Title: wind/sunscreen
Post by: Dune on September 20, 2016, 02:55:09 AM
Something I am doing for a client (WIP). Reducing opacity lets more light fall through objects; handy for the sun/windscreens (opacity@0.501). I still have to adjust the parasols.
But guys; keep in mind that this will be a temporary thing.

Wow, I didn't know that. Cool.
What do you mean by temporary thing?

That looks sweet.

Eventually, opacity will be greyscale, not pure black or white, so reducing opacity to 0.501 will then be 50.1% grey, making the object half opaque. Now the sunscreen remains totally visible, while only the light passing through is reduced.

News to me as well but I still dream at night of greyscale control of transparency...eventually is I guess, better than never....
