Title: Expected behavior for OBJ/TGO files??
Post by: masonspappy on November 04, 2016, 10:27:22 PM
So, tonight I loaded a tree object (.obj) and saw it was laying on it's side.   I rotated the tree by -90 degrees, made a few other changes and then saved as TGO.   But when I reload the TGO file the tree is laying on it's side again.     Went through this process a second time, and again the tree is laying on its side upon reloading the TGO file.

Is this expected behavior for TG4?

Hasn't it always been that way with a .obj that hasn't been corrected, axis wise, in PoseRay?.

It's probably XFrog and you didn't click yes when asked, or it's not and vice versa. Anyway, whatever you do to a obj and save it as tgo, it will only save the original (size/angle). Poseray is the answer indeed.
