Title: OBJ Population Rendering Issue
Post by: myklgrant on November 06, 2016, 10:02:11 PM
Hello,

I was putting TG4 through its paces and I had a problem rendering an OBJ population. Some sections seem to not render at all.
The render preview is fine (I love the RTP) but no matter what settings I use on the final render I get this.[attachimg=1]
I don't remember having this problem with TG3 and I really don't know what is going on here. Is it a problem with transparency?
Thank-you for any suggestions.

Michael Grant

Is it a population of Victoria 4? and was it run thru Poseray before loading it in TG 4?

It may have to do with the opacity tab (and possibly the pre-multiply?, though probably not). If the opacity image is not having an alpha, or alpha is not checked.... might try that.

Did you check if there was any weird displacement applied in your shaders?

also is that rendered as "default" or "force displacement" mode? (in the object's rendering tab)
