Matt, any sneak peak images of water transparency yet? No worries if you aren't done yet.
Can't wait until this feature is implemented and would love to see what is up and coming. 8)
Crap, now that I think of it, I had better leave him alone so he can actually get the thing finished! :o

here you go ;)
Naaaa - this looks too much fake. The darkening of the wet sand is too sharp and there a black spots in the water. The surf looks cut and the sandtexture is not convincing at all.
Else You should try higher contrast settings and a larger planet for a less obvious curvature at the horizon.
well it was only a test render :D
Yeah, the foam is totally unconvincing. Hang your head.
;D
Ah, reminds me a bit of an old TG 0.9 image I did http://www.ashundar.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=4&pos=1

Just some careful surface mapping work. It was a noisy (high fractal noise) dark green layer with very close min and max altitude constraints. You could do the same (and better) in TG2 now.

It reminds me of Elafonissi on the south side of Crete 8)
Now come on Will, you could have at least made an effort with this one.... no more shody unconvincing renders from you, we all know you can do a lot better than this ;D ;D ;D
