i hope you can give me advices to make it look better ^^

perhaps there is too many stones ?

No. Not too many. This is beautiful. Although I like it, it either needs more light or needs to be bigger to appreciate the landscape. Probably the latter. Nice work.
I love the clouds....but I am not sure about the stones as it is kinda dark.....
Looks good so far, but I cant really see whats going on in the foreground. Try some different cloud settings maybe, hitting the random seed a few times (maybe more than a few lol). See if you could get a heavy sky with a shaft of light illuminating the stones in the foreground.
Richard
okidoki ! i'll hit the random seed another 15 minutes ^^
and i'll do them bigger too !
thanks guys !
Great suggestion.

Mmmm :) Looking Yummy, now make it bigger ;D
Richard
Yes. BIGGER. And turn up the Atmosphere quality to 64 and the Clouds to a lot. ;D
sir yes sir !!! :D
That is going to look amazing! We need it bigger!
Hmm... I guess bigger is better :P. From what I can see the colors look really nice here.
And some sound, please :) ;) ;D
..and no preview ads before the render please. ;D
But seriously, a bigger render is definitely needed.
nothing wrong with preview adds :) gets the expectation up and running, and who wants to go to the trouble of rendering of full res images only to get the sought after advice anyway and have to render again.
Richard
I liked the composition of the rocks on the first version.
Either way bigger!
rendering on its way... 8.5 hours already and the clouds are not finished yet ! :P
couldn't help myself from adding water though...
okay i am not happy with the clouds nor the water (the water's scale seems too small) but hey 29 hours to render this... thing so... i'll render it again later :P i neeeeed to play with TG2 again and i can't stay watching it rendering timeless ;D
anyway here is the result...

It is good, I really like it. I just wonder why it took so long to render. Will have a look at the file later ,-)

My first two impressions: This scene does not need quality 3 for cloudsamples. This is far too much.
For the cloud definition: Swap the values of cloud density and edge sharpness.
Make cropped testrenders of the clouds starting with quality 0.7 and 0.05 steps.
You might want to go into the 'More settings' on the render screen and reduce Detail blending.
I love the terrain and the textured rocks. Great job.
i'll try as you say Volker. thank you for the advices !
Fantastic rocks! Love the scene.
great rocks!
Just great! Lovely mood.
Very nice Seth !! I really love the rocks and nice texture too......you're on the good way !! ;D
