Title: World Machine Canyon
Post by: Urantia Jerry on January 30, 2017, 11:25:08 AM
The Heightfield was created in World Machine using new GeoGlyph2 devices and eroded within World Machine.  If you can see them, the bushes are Dunes.  What can I do to further enhance this picture and make it more realistic?  ANY C and C is requested and appreciated.  Thank you - Jerry.

I am wondering if you have your cloud shadows turned off in this image? Multiple cloud layers? I ask because I think this is a very lovely image, but the far strata seems a little bleached out to me.
I have not seen a canyon IRL like this so maybe it is not.

It is very hard not to crank up the scale on great vegetation isn't it. I think yours looks pretty accurate or try a crop render with slight scale increases.

I tried a auto adjust color enhance, but got bluish cloud bottoms  :(  I always try for that "post card" crisp look, haha.

Try breaking up the terracing a bit either in WM or in TG. The "steps" look IMO always takes away any realism. Atmo could use some tweaks its washed out a bit. Good start. I look forward to the next iteration
