Title: Lock 'em up!
Post by: Harvey Birdman on September 14, 2007, 02:15:57 PM
I stuck this in as an aside on a thread of Cyphyr's earlier this week, but I thought I'd mention it again here.

One feature I'd really, really like to see added would be a 'Lock' feature in the node view. It could work on either a group-by group basis, or for the whole project at once. The idea would be to prevent you from accidentally disconnectinng connections. (Not that it's ever happened to me...  ;) ).

Another nice addition would be a 'Minimize' feature for node groups. I mentioned this as an aside when the idea for additional boolean operators was under discussion. It'd make dealing with complex node networks a LOT easier.

So those are my additions to the wish list for this, the week of 14/09/07.

Sounds like a very good suggestion Mr. Birdman!

I agree.  I feel like a drunk clumsy guitarist with thick fingers in there sometimes.
