This scene will be the start animation for the serenity flight over the corn fields...
I was a bit too lazy with the gravel - I'll add one or two more layers of fakestones in different scales and reduce the density...
Some of the objects I already used on Dune's Road setup.
Plants as usual XFrog except the grass collection by Chris -I just love it :)
The radio is from Paul Attanasio on Archive3D
The old house is from 3DRegenerator on TF3DM if I remember correctly
Car Ruins by ERLHN on turbosquid
The table is between my object library since decades (I guess so :) )

NIce! 8)
Fabulous set up for that scene so far!
Masterpiece again, but the table is floating, IMO.
Oh dear... ;D ;D ;D
I removed a smoothing function some (terrain-) shaders below and I forgot to check position again ... funny - I didn't forget to repopulate the population cache files... ;D
Thanks Ulco :)
Didn't have my specs on first view and I missed that, good catch Ulco.
I love this series, very nice indeed
Very nice.
Thanks to you all :)
After adding more smal fakestones for the gravel I found out that afterwards EVERYTHING was floating!!! :-[ :P ::) ;D ;D
And while repairing and repopulating everything I just had the idea to do VR-version.
I had that chance and I really wish you could see this on a PS4-VR!
Now I know what to do after the film in 2020 (if that ever gets true ;) )
The Daisies are a bit oversized... perhaps I'll change this some day... for the animation it's better.
I added some additional objects:
The bussards from Dune on NWDA
Some butterflies from Turbosquid
The old renault from archive3D
Lumber N260614 by Reis on archive3d
Log 2 with ax by Ben Davis on archive3d
Tire Stack under the apple tree by ysup12 on TF3DM
Toilet N310108 by Boeyinga Berend Tobia on archive3d
Old wood wheel N270512 by Andrey Borodin on Archive3D
Wheelbarrow v2 my mik.a. on turbosquid
And the two ladies: Kati and Rosy are from my last shopping tour at renderpeople

Doc, I had to remove your attachment because the resolution was too high. You can't attach 6000 pixel images here unfortunately. I know that size is ideal for VR, but we can't currently accommodate it. You could post it elsewhere and link here though, of course.
- Oshyan
Ahh thank you Oshyan... I was almost sure I crashed the internet ;D
No - seriously! I had that idea that the size could be a problem (not the 3.xx MB but the 6000x3000 resolution)
But I couldn'd solve the problem because the post wasn't shown anymore in my browser - I only got the error message 500 (I only knew 404 before)
Ok - I'll zip the file and just put an inline text link... that should work - right?
Here it comes...
(The title of the file is a hint, who spent a song for the animation and the radio in this render is ideally suited to play that song ;) )

The technical informations in the upper post are still valid...
For all who can't use a panorama software (or VR) I will render some single shots in some days (already busy with rendering something else at the moment - sorry)
Yeah, that works well, thanks! And in fact that's a good solution for anyone who wants to post a large panorama in the future because they're not that great to view in the browser anyway.

I didn't look with a VR viewer, but the panorama image is fantastic (except the people look out of place). Do you have a link for a free viewer?
