Hi everyone
As you will know if you read the post about it a while ago...I am working on some pictures to celebrate the release of Halo 3 a Week on Tuesday/Wednesday depending where you live..
Now The Large Capital Ship still needs some work, but The Pelicans in this Picture are finished, Enjoy!

Looks good, I would lower the haze in the atmo a little more though. keep it up!
Thanks,
I noticed that It was lacking in haze in a few ways..So im trying to correct it in a HDR Program I just downloaded,
Also, Any Thoughts for diffrent renders from anyone, halo related lol
Nice. Cool idea.
maybe some postwork on engine exhaust would give the image more depth
Thanks Guys
dhavalmistry: I would like to add Somesort of Heat distortion around the engine, and even adding flames in would add a large amount of depth...The Problem with that is right now I dont have access to anything that i could use to do this,
Thanks
Zionner
Gimp or PS could probably do it.
I'll Have a look about and see if i can find a way to do it ;)
Added some plasma flames.
yea there kinda lame I know, but I thought I would give ti a shot.
Nice!, What Did you use for that? Photoshop?
yea, a simple brush and the smudge tool
Nice, Now if only i could afford Photoshop :/
Do you know any others that could do what im looking for? (Heat distortion)
you could do it in Gimp I think http://www.gimp.org/ not sure if it has a smudge tool but some careful drawing an a blur brush would work, then just blur behind the flame for effect.
Thanks Will, I''m trying it out now
Try Paint.net (http://www.getpaint.net/) or Photofiltre (http://photofiltre.free.fr/download_en.htm), both free.

Thanks Oshyan, I'll try them out now ;)
This is a slightly changed version..using the blur tool from Photofiltre...
Its quite good (i think anyway) as the blur gives the pelicans feel more as if they are moving..
As always C+C welcome :D

I think to create more depth you should blur the whole pelicans instead of just bits and parts.......also giving more amount of blur to foreground objects compared to those in the background will give depth as well....
but this isnt bad at all....keep up the good work....
Ok, I'll give it a try...I'll post it in 5 minutes or so...
ok..here the updated picture lol

much better.....a little less blur tho (its just my taste)...
Heh, I'll leave it for now..if lots of other people want less or more..then i'll change lol
works for me....
