All TG2 and no postwork.....I actually love this a lot and I am quite happy how it is turning out
still looking for something to cover the ground.....
Huh, a purple sky. That's different. :)
What about using some of these plants for ground cover?

I do not know how well the texture maps would look up-close but the polygons look OK, just not great.
Nice trees, fancy lighting and nice POV. Purple sky is...out of the ordinary. :P
I like this render, it has an illustrative quality about it.
It is good. I do not know what you were up to when doing the colours' choice but they are good. (First thought was Vanilla Sky).
In my opinion this image just needs size, not objects.
It's special alright, but I like it to ;)

care to expand Volker???
You have my mail ,-)
thanx everybody!!....I was trying to replicate this....
Oh, marvelous. Keep trying. ;D
I love this. The silhouettes of the trees diminishing into the mist is beautiful. Sky Colour may be extreme but I suppose it somehow works.
woaaaaaaaaaaah ! ! ! I love that ! bring Al Pacino back ! :o
Very cool image, but I have to say the purple sky just detracts from it IMO. I'd make it more blue and then increase Red Decay to get a more sunset look to the lighting. Other than that yes maybe some ground cover, and then it'd be really tops. :)

It's funny how the sky can do such marvelous colors.
u mean nature?
Yes. I've seen so many variations of colors in the sky, usually at sunrise or sunset, that I think we're safe in trying about anything. The only complexity I see is trying to cover a spectrum of color and not just one solid color. Usually the sky has numerous shades created by clouds and the levels as well as the hues of color are all in the same neighborhood, though with lots of surprising variations.
The more I play with TG2, the more I appreciate what nature produces. It's truly amazing.
