This is a hill made with textures from Volker's tutorial and mr. miley's horse chestnut. Both of which are fantastic pieces of work, thanks guys! It was just intended as something for a project a member of my family was working on, but I thought I'd upload it anyway to show what I've been doing. This is probably the last render I will upload in a few weeks (at the least) since I will be heading off to uni and it will take some time to get set up (and sober!). If (when) I re-render I'm going to increase the displacement of the rock, and get some nice features appearing there.

Is it my monitor or is the right side to dark to see? I love what I can see though - these are great textures.
This looks great, although there are several white specks that detract from the image.
Yeah it's a lot darker than originally intended, but the person I made it for requested it that way

I'm not that mean! I don't charge family, especially since it was for school! Not to mention I'm using tech preview, so it wouldn't be legal either.
A little dark for me, but still very good work.
