Hi folks,
what does "stabilze ray detail in motion" do?
I had some little black artefacts from raytraced soft shadows and a little trawling around found this parameter and turned it on - cleans up them up nicely.
Don't know what this param is for though, or why it's off by default?

ray detail in motion - on

Is this feature in the free version? Would be nice cause I can't do sand dunes and sand ripples without them being plagued by those polygony/triangly artifacts. I don't use soft shadows though, and still get them.

				This is Terragen 4 Pro,
The param is in Render\ Advanced Tab\Subdiv settings
Hopefully, it's in the free version too.
I'm just waiting for someone to say it doesn't work in animations :)
