Title: Algorithmic Mathematical Art
Post by: WAS on October 05, 2018, 07:49:27 PM
Some of this stuff here is just mind boggling. I wonder if anyones ever attempted using TG for custom fractals in a world setting.

Now you know I am no math wiz, but look at some of Dragonfire's Mandibulb fractal images. I do not think he ever made a whole world per se, but some unique creations.

Mandelbulb is really cool I think I played with it a few years back on a friends machine.

I meant more doing the algorithmic functions in TG blue nodes.

AP also shared 100 functions file some time ago , I have also seen some checkerboard surfaces, some tiling squares etc. Kinda reminiscent of the ray trace experimental files if you were into that years ago. I did some animation with that where all these shapes came together, then spun around....It is 2 computers ago so don't ask me to find it, LOL.
