i tried EXR format to have some control on lights...
i hoped for some rays... but it seems than the sun was not well oriented :)
anyways...

I like your clouds, especially those on the right. You accomplished a great sense of scale here, too. I think that the shadows should be brighter, though: firstly so that we can see more of your texturing work, and secondly to improve the realism a bit.
nice work...I like your cirrus layer....
looks nice... I like the clouds, only I'm not sure if those dark cumulus clouds are right for the otherwise quite bright and "friendly-looking" sky.
This is very nice. The longer I look at it, the nicer it seems.
ok i followed everyone's advice and change the sun orientation and light...
hope you will find it better ^^
put your sunglasses on, the sunlight is blinding 8)

Oh yes, much much better. The clouds look fantastic in this one and the terrain and surfacing play a much larger role in the scene. It seems more complete now. Nice work.
thank you :D
now, my problem is that big white space... perhaps the sun's too bright...
edit : damn i render it again right now... i hope it will be better ^^ here we go for another 24 hours (at least)
The second image the suns too bright, but the orientation and definition of the rays looks good. I like the atmospheric settings in the first one.
Oh, the second one is beatiful.
the third render's on its way... 10 hours already
Getting the settings for the Glow Amount and Glow Power right drives me nuts >:(
Looking forward to No 3.
As said by others, the second one's terrain and sky are excellent. Good job.
ok third one ^^

I really really like your sky!
Wow, this is even better. Nice work!
the third one is really cool, i like your atmo and clouds a lot.
did you try adding a couple of trees in the flat area already? would like to know how that'd look like
i wanna try but i still don't know what kind of trees ! ^^
And the third one is even better!
I see a trend developing.
Very nice renders. I must say that I prefer the 2nd one. I think the lighting looks more realistic for a very sunny day. If you took a photo of the same scene in those lighting conditions, I bet the top left corner would be bleached out like that. I do like the third too, as this shows more of the great texturing etc. Very well done.
some update... i added some trees and well some postwork for contrast...

Very nice. I like the scaling, though the trees on the left could be a tad bit smaller...pickiness on my part, though, and purely subjective.
The clouds are amazing! If you could upload a clip of them (to Ashundar...? :P) or even share a couple of settings that would be great. I agree with Calico about the scale of the trees, but again, it's pretty minor.
Oh man, that's really nice. Very pretty.
i'll share my clouds by tomorrow (when my render will be finished) ^^
Woah! ;D
very nice...
here is the atmo/clouds tgc :)
nice rays
Thanks again, Seth.
very inspiring!
Wow, this in an incredible render. Personally I like the scale of the trees and the clouds blow me away.
Its amazing to try and think I tought him how to do the basics....
They grow up so fast :'(
Oh, And Great Render by the way! I could never get the surfacing right, i've never been good at it...Well done!
Edit: Post 300! :P
thank you very much dude ! you open a all new life to me ;D
Thanks for sharing the clipfile of this very nice atmo and clouds :)
Yeah! The atmos settings are niice!
+ Would it be possible to post a clip showing how you got those textures! I would love to learn it:P
as soon as my render will be over, i'll send the tgc ^^
Thanks:D
