Title: Nautilus Enters Vulcania
Post by: Ogre on October 29, 2007, 09:43:35 AM
The Nautilus emerges from an underwater cave and enters its home base of Vulcania.

Had this one in the works for quite some time but it alwasy crashed.  The latest update seems to have cured the problem.

to me..the ship looks a bit cartoonish compared to the surroundings...but overall very nicely done!

Awesome job. There are some things on the ship that don't look right, but other than that it's amazing.

Ship looks OK. Are you talking about the fish between the ship and the camera?

Great image.  I think it's just the windows on the ship that look a bit odd. I'm guessing they have a reflective shader with a tint of 1?. If it is, try dropping the tint to 0.5  The rest of the image is awesome.

Thanks for the comments. When I have time I will re-render it.  I am hoping for transparent materials so I can do the windows properly one day.
