Post by: mhaze on October 31, 2007, 09:46:02 AM
Any body have any ideas as to how I can rotate clouds?

Hmm... I'm not sure off of the top of my head.  I suppose you could try setting up a function network that takes the input of a cloud distribution shader, and then uses the trig functions to try to rotate the clouds.

I think o_b is probably as close to right as anything I could think would work.  I've never tried.

The transform shader will move clouds laterally a treat but I don't know of a specific way to rotate anything. OB is likely on the right track.

I am waiting for Efflux to join in ;D
Being sure that there are some rotate function nodes that have not been inspected, yet!

To put it simply though there is probably no simple way to do at at this time, but yea a bunch of functions would work.

I would love to help, but I'm busy with school and my own projects right now.
