Hi there,

I followed the tips and tricks to install the latest version of TG along side of the previous version.
Does each installation read in the same preference file?
For example when I open 4.4.18 it still reads paths to folders I set in the preferences for 4.25..

Is that the way it works?

Yes I think it does - on a standard install on Windows the prefs seem to be at:

C:\Users\<YOUR_USER_NAME>\AppData\Roaming\uk.co.planetside\Terragen-4

You could back that up if you need to have alternative preferences

edit: search for planetside on your C drive to find Terragen related config files

Correct, because those files (including the key file) are all kept in a central app data folder for each major version of Terragen (2, 3, 4).
